This Gîte Paysan is located approx. 15 km to Limoux, capitol of Blanquette and famous Chardonnay in the Haute Vallée of the land of cathars, this perfect placed for wanderers, bikers, families with children, friends of history and typical french cuisine, lovers of the unique Chadonnays of Limoux and the red wines of the Roussillon.


From the « grand balcon » you'll enter the house with its large living room with chimney and comfortable reading-corner, television and a library with English and French lecture. You will also find a lot of information about the history of the sect of the cathars.

Elyette Bennon, your landlord, speaks English, and she will
be pleased to let you have any information on the country's
fascinating history, tips for trips and festivals.

Adjacent to the big living room you will see the dining room from where you have a splendid view to the wunderful garden. This is were breakfast is served and where you will spend the evening, tasting the typical dishes and unique wines of this country.

The house may also be booked as holiday home for people up to 12 (with our without meals). The kitchen - adjacent to the dining room - is completely furnished with stove, refrigerator and dish washer.
